The metropolis of São Paulo is the cradle of many artists who have already achieved success in the whole country, and also outside. Alice Braga, Oswald de Andrade and Maria Rita are just a few examples of artists who have projected themselves from the capital of São Paulo to the world.

The young João Vitor Romania, 23, is from a small city in the state of São Paulo, Araraquara, and has been standing out as a revelation of Brazilian Popular Music (MPB) since last year.
Jão, as is already called by netizens, began to be known when, in December 2016, he posted on his youtube channel, a cover of the song Na Sua Estante, by the Pitty singer from Bahia.
2) Rincon Sapiência
After the Racionais MCs burst in the early 1990s, rap fans were thrilled by the emergence of other talents such as Emicida and Criolo. The ball of the time now is called Rincon Sapiência, singer who presented his first complete album in 2017, the Galanga Livre.
The musician, who toured in France and Portugal, was chosen by the artist of the year by the APCA (Paulista Association of Art Critics) – awards that guaranteed him an invitation to participate as a national highlight of the Lollapalooza 2018 line-up.
3) Ana Gabriela
Ana Gabriela is a natural singer from São José dos Campos, in the interior of São Paulo. At the age of 21, she has already reached more than 1 million subscribers on her youtube channel.
The first videos of Ana Gabriela were recorded only with her cell phone, and she began to become known to the general public when she was nominated for the Brazilian Music Multishow Award in 2017.
4) Cynthia Luz
Cynthia Luz was born in Minas Gerais, but she is currently living in São Paulo. She began to sing in the choir of the church she attended as a child. As soon as he turned 15, he began performing at family parties and bars in his city and nearby regions.

9) Augusto Alvarenga
Augusto is a 22-year-old mining writer who, in 2017, has released his latest novel: “The Brightest Lights.”
